Celebrating 25 years of Personalised Creative Art Classes
The Art Hut was a donation from Tom Swan to the Canungra Information Centre.
Tom Swan was a generous local Land Developer.
One of his first projects was "Canungra Downs", right next to what is now Gisele's Art Studio and Gallery
The Art Hut, or former shed used to be located on the fence line of our block and Tom's property. It is possible that the artist Bode has done one of his paintings from that spot.

Picture showing Mr. Les Gittens and Mr Keith Howard, members of the Canungra Light Horse Brigade during the 1st World War. - Mr Howard lived in Canungra for 65 years and was visiting from Brisbane for the Centenary Celebrations.
Canungra can be considered as the central focal point from which to venture out to discover places like Tamborine Mountain, Beechmont, Beaudesert, World Heritage Lamington National Park & the Scenic Rim, with well known places such as O'Reilly's & Binna Burra.
Canungra is situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in South East Queensland. It is a well known Village, considered to be the gateway to the Scienic Rim. On the weekend it is particulary busy, and offers great entertainment, such as Markets, great Cafe's and good shopping.
