I love these watercolors, and have used them for over 30 years, they are from Germany and are made from high quality pigments of the finest grain size. They have great flowing capacity, and combine them with quality paper and you will be assured a high quality outcome. Easily soluble, they deliver good light fastness with brilliant, dense colors, and no waste at all.
Tubes may feel more arty, but once you have used Pelikan Transparent Watercolours, there is no way back ..
They are often mistaken for student water colours, in fact, on most German schools,
the students would use the Pelikan Opaque Watercolor Set.

I always make sure, I buy a few sets, when I am in Germany, as unfortunately they are very hard to come by.
