Picture showing Mr. Les Gittens and Mr Keith Howard, members of the Canungra Light Horse Brigade during the 1st World War.
Mr Howard lived in Canungra for 65 years and was visiting from Brisbane for the Centenary Celebrations.

The Art Hut was a donation from Tom Swan to Canungra or to the Canungra Information Centre.
Tom Swan was a generous local Land Developer.
One of his first projects was "Canungra Downs", right next to our block.
The Art Hut, or former shed used to be located on the fence line of our block and Tom's property. It is possible that the artist Bode has done one of his paintings from that spot.
