ARCHES Aquarelle papers are mould made, 100% cotton, acid free, surface sized with gelatin and air dried.
They are archival and therefore will not change colour, flexibility or strength over time due to chemicals in the paper, mounting or air, which means they will last unaltered
for centuries under proper care and storage.
Students often use cheap papers and colours, to learn on surfaces where the colour is not flowing can become very frustrating. The difference, paining with good colours on a good support is most astounding to students, with comments such as - "and I thought it was me".
